Mental health services care is different for everyone. For some patients, the first step is understanding symptoms that have started to affect sleep, work, relationships or everyday life. Others come to WellMed with an existing diagnosis or treatment plan and need medication management, follow-up care or a review of how their treatment is working.
Assessment, Treatment & Referrals for Mental Health Services
A psychiatric consultation includes an assessment of your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current medication and any previous treatment. Where appropriate, your psychiatrist can provide a clinical diagnosis and discuss a treatment plan with you. This may include medication, lifestyle changes, follow-up appointments, psychological therapy or a combination of approaches.
Not every mental health condition should be managed in a general outpatient clinic. Where ongoing psychotherapy, psychological testing, addiction treatment, child and adolescent psychiatry, or more specialised psychiatric care is needed, we can refer you to an appropriate therapist, psychiatrist or hospital in Bangkok.

A psychiatric consultation is a medical assessment of your mental health, symptoms, history and current circumstances. Your psychiatrist will ask about what you have been experiencing, how long symptoms have been present, any previous treatment, medication you are taking, and relevant medical or family history.
Where appropriate, the consultation may lead to a clinical diagnosis and a treatment plan. This may include medication, lifestyle changes, follow-up appointments, psychological therapy, or referral to another specialist.
Treatment is discussed with you rather than simply prescribed. If medication is recommended, your psychiatrist will explain why it may help, how it should be taken, possible side effects and when your response should be reviewed.

Nurses and staff were very friendly and helpful, everyone spoke good English and explained things clearly. We were seen within 15 minutes and had three vaccines (rabies, Hep B and JE) all vaccines together cost 2580THB (March 26) - we did come at the end of high season so there were no other tourists. You can also book with them using WhatsApp but we just walked in. We were able to book in the boosters also and we got some sweeties for our efforts. It was a very pleasant and quick experience. They offer a wide range of test packages to choose from. I only wish they also provided chest X-rays, but overall, I was able to get exactly what I needed.

I had a great service at WellMed. I had a minor issue that needed medical attention, I booked an appointment online very easily and was contacted by email to confirm the appointment within minutes. There were appointments available for the next day at a variety of times so it was very convenient. The practice is easy to find and you can take the sky train or MRT to Asok and it's a short walk from the station. The staff were very welcoming and the practice is incredibly clean. I saw a GP very quickly, and the consultation was thorough and the GP answered any questions I had. The cost of the appointment and prescription were very reasonable, particularly given the great service I recieved. I contacted the practice a few days later as my issue persisted and was seen again quickly. I was not charged another consultation fee and only had to pay for further prescription. I am very grateful for the care provided and I recommend this service if you need to see a GP for fast and effective treatment.

Went there today to get assistance for my cough which started 2 days ago. The reception staff was very helpful.
The young female Doctor was excellent, very switch on, very impressive. She asked the right questions and gave me proper medicin to prevent further deterioration and help me heal fast.
Cost was only THB 1200.- including 4 different medicin and the consultation by the Doctor. Great value, great service, great Doctor. Highly recommemded.

Excellent service at such reasonable price. All the receptionists are very friendly and the nurse who assisted me, Siya, is so good in explaining to me everything I asked about. Came in to get stitches removed. Booked appointment, only had to wait a few minutes. After a brief doctor consulation, nurse Kha Noon took over. She took the extra time and care to ensure the wound was thoroughly and completely cleaned to prevent infection, and removed the stitches very gently and with great skill. She truly is sweet, caring person.
My bill was only about 800 thb. Overall a great experience. Thank you again Kha Noon!

I can only repeat what all of the other reviewers have said. This place is a gem. I went there today, had an appointment within an hour of WhatsApp'ing then, had a half-hour appointment with a doctor, who spoke perfect English, gave me great advice, and could write a prescription, if I needed one. I paid 800 THB (about £18). Absolutely worth every penny.

I needed to see a doctor at short notice and came across WellMed. There are quite a lot of clinics around this area and so I selected WellMed based on the number of positive reviews. Although I didn't have an appointment, I was able to see a doctor right away, no hanging around. I was very happy with the quality and style of service and the professionalism from the desk staff, the nurses and the doctor.
After that, I discovered that WellMed also offer a range of other services and check-ups and because of my positive experience, I booked the "Advanced Check-up package" - I was able to get an appointment for this on the day I wanted.
On the day of this check-up, again I was seen right away with no delays. The blood draw was quick and easy and I was out in less than 30 minutes. I received the results the next morning!
They offer a good range of services and prices are very reasonable.
Based on my positive experiences, I can highly recommend WellMed and I will definitely use again when I need some check-ups while I am in Bangkok!

Very satisfied with my visit. This is a great clinic for travellers and expats. Booking online was easy and all staff were courteous and professional. The doctor who consulted me clearly explained everything and I was supplied medication and a medical certificate printed in English on the spot. I think 700 baht consultation fee for a private medical clinic is value for money. I will be using again if ever needed every time I am in Bangkok.

I had an excellent experience! Their response time was incredibly fast, and I loved that they use WhatsApp for communication – it made everything so convenient. They also accept walk-ins, which is a huge plus compared to other clinics that require appointments. Payment was a breeze as they accept credit cards, and they were very thorough with the services they offer. They even showed me the treatment package before starting, which made me feel really comfortable and informed. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, which was impressive! The clinic is conveniently located near the Blue Line MRT, so it’s easy to get to. While there aren’t restrooms inside the clinic, there are clean public restrooms just outside. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for great care and convenience! Oh also I got the yellow fever vaccine which is required to enter some countries and that cost me 2,200 baht

Another Dr had suggested something and the Dr told me "NO, IM NOT GOING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, YOU DONT NEED ALL THAT!" I recommend this place highly for travelers.

Very easy going, still professional yet. the doctor even answered me couple more questions about travel vaccines, but only charged me for the one i got (780baht, very decent). you can also text them on whatsapp and ask prior if you should come and if they can help you. went in and out within 10 minutes, including fill out of vaccine sheet and the shot in my arm 🙂 very very friendly people working there. so if you need something go there!

I needed to continue my rabies vaccine schedule after being bitten in Vietnam, I googled wellmed and saw the good reviews so came here today. Very easy, great English, they accepted a photo of my passport as I don’t like carrying my actual passport incase it gets lost or damaged while I’m out and about, communication was clear and easy with all of them speaking very good English, price very reasonable at under 800baht, the whole process was very straight forward, they were very professional and asked the history of what happened and checked all my previous vaccines done in Vietnam were correct. I didn’t have an appointment and was seen fast. I’d highly recommend!

Would recommend for anyone who wants a fast service for medical certificates for driving or work permit as well as vaccination. Also, they provide a convenient appointment for a general doctor consultation who speaks English.
Administrators, nurses, and doctors can speak both Thai and English. You can make an appointment to get a medical certificate to get a driver's license. It's very convenient. It takes about 15 minutes.
I saw that there was a vaccination service. Making an appointment to consult with a doctor for general diseases is convenient. And traveling from MRT/BTS is very easy 👍🏼

Excellent Medical Care at WellMed Bangkok Clinic
I had a severe bronchitis and was able to get an appointment with Dr. Kittitouch Lorlertthum on the same day. He quickly and professionally diagnosed my condition, and after receiving the prescribed antibiotics, my recovery began in no time.
The entire process was highly professional, from the reception team to the treatment itself. I felt well taken care of and in very good hands throughout my visit.
I will definitely return to WellMed Bangkok Clinic for any future medical needs, as they provide outstanding care. A big thank you to the entire team!

We got our Japanese Encephalitis travel vaccines here and the clinic was very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and professional and made us feel very comfortable. Had no problems afterwards and the vaccine cost 1200 THB each.

The clinic is slightly pricier compared to other local clinics, but I believe it's worth it. My husband had a severe fever and sinus issues, and after taking the prescribed medication just once, he felt significantly better.
I’m giving four stars mainly because of the front desk receptionist. We arrived at the clinic around 5:10 PM, and based on Google reviews, I knew walk-ins were accepted. However, the receptionist told us that there were too many bookings and asked us to return the next day. I explained that my husband had a very high fever and that we had traveled nearly an hour to get there. Instead of showing any empathy, she looked at me as if I couldn’t afford the bill—her demeanor was cold and unwelcoming, making me feel like I was beneath her.
Normally, I would have addressed such treatment immediately, but at that moment, my priority was my husband’s health. The rest of the staff, including the nurses and doctor, were friendly and highly professional. It’s unfortunate that the first point of contact at the clinic left such a negative impression. A receptionist should be warm, approachable, and understanding—something she clearly was not.

Excellent experience and service from start to finish! I was suffering from a bad sinus infection, and just walked in without an appointment. Nevertheless, I saw the doctor, got my prescriptions, and was on my way in about 30-35 minutes! The doctor was fantastic about explaining everything regarding her diagnosis and the medications she prescribed, and never rushed me in any way. The staff were all equally great, so kind and helpful. As others have noted, the English skill of everyone is very high. Thanks to all who helped me get better!

The clinic makes a new impression, is very clean and therefore absolutely recommended.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. With an appointment booked online in advance, I came to Dr. after a short wait. Tulaton Sodsri. He speaks perfect English and is very personable and competent. You feel very well looked after and I felt better the next day with the antibiotics given.
The treatment + antibiotics cost me 1200 Bath, which is absolutely fair and also affordable if you don't have international health insurance.

I called and soon walked in feeling terrible, with strong flu like symptoms and no energy. I was able to be seen and felt at ease very quickly. Ended up being there for four hours whilst I had IV and waited for the doctor to return from lunch and see me again. Magnificent service from the team here. Felt so much better the next day. Got into an accident and came here twice for changing wound dressing. Receptionist is fast and efficient. Nurse Mint made the process more comfortable and i feel safe with her. Was worried about my wound & pain but nurse Mint clean it very gently explaining all the process clearly.

We were involved in a motorcycle accident and decided to go to wellmed medical clinic to change our wound dressing. All the staffs were so welcoming and understanding of our situation. The receptionist was professional and welcoming to help us register. Waiting time was fast and efficient as well. Shoutout to the staff named Mint who was so knowledgeable and gave us tips on how to take care of our wound. She does her job professionally and made sure we feel as little pain as we can while changing our dressing. We were impressed by the service and quality here considering we are foreigners as it was an easy and fast process. I would recommend this clinic to anyone as they provide other services as well. I can’t thank the team of WellMed Bangkok enough for their kind and speedy treatment today! I came by as a walk-in as I had a cat bite and was worried about infection. I highly recommend this medical clinic. While travelling abroad, caught a cold & bad sore throat for over a week - called in and got an appointment on the same day. Consultation with english speaking doctor went really well. They gave me the medications needed onsite. Overall this place is professional, thorough, and efficient. I would definitely be back!
Consultation was quoted as $700-$1000 baht ($29-$41 CAD) - plus cost medication and any testing. Mine was $1500 baht ($700 baht consult, plus $800 in medication). Bring your passport for registration! They accept cash or credit card.

Fantastic place if you need wound care! I had a dog bite on Koh Samui and needed a wound redress while in Bangkok for a couple of days before flying back to the UK. Found this place online, impressed by other reviews. So easy to book online, and very impressed at the clinic too. Place nice and clean, efficient process, amazing friendly and professional nurses and doctor (I was nervous!). Great price too. Definitely recommend!

One disclaimer: you have to go down some stairs to enter the clinic, so if you have trouble walking, it is worth bearing this in mind.
EDIT: It's true that the nurses are happy to assist you up and down the stairs, but when I asked today at the clinic, I was told there was no elevator that I could use.

I went here to get checked out for a sore throat and the staff were very friendly, fast, and efficient. The price of the visit was very affordable to me compared to what you'd pay in the U.S. without health insurance. I received a consultation, throat swab, some throat spray and just waiting to get my test results and medication if needed. All was included in the price which you pay the day you visit. You can also get a medical certificate if you want to use your insurance but not sure how American insurance works in Thailand if at all. Either way the price is still affordable without.
The online booking process was very easy and efficient. They are located in the lower floor of the building past the Radisson Blu hotel if coming from Phrom Phong. The friendly building security guards will point you in the right direction if you have trouble finding the clinic.
Not sure if it was luck or what but having the option to have a same day doctor visit without waiting several hours like at a walk-in clinic at home felt great and I would definitely use their services again if needed.

I have not been this sick in a very long time. Vomiting blood, diarrhea, and extremely dehydrated. Came to this clinic, everyone spoke great English, made me feel extremely comfortable, and got me better within a few hours. I was able to fall asleep after to restless nights sweating while throwing up. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is not feeling well. They are getting a 5 star review from me. After an unfortunate food poisoning incident I searched up many clinics and decided to go here because of the stellar reviews. I booked an appointment on their website which was very easy and upon entering the clinic. I was warmly greeted by the desk staff, filled out the necessary form, quick blood pressure taken by a nurse and was seen by the doctor fairly quickly.
The doctor was very friendly, thorough, asked questions to help determine what was wrong and spoke wonderful English. Afterwards the nurse gave me the medications which had clear instructions labelled but she also advised on how to take them as well.
The total bill for the consult and about a weeks worth of medication was 1200 Baht which I feel is very reasonable especially when you consider the location of the clinic and the professionalism of all the staff.
I left very satisfied with the entire experience and should I need any medical attention on future visits to Bangkok. I'll only go here as it was that good in my eyes. I can only highly recommend this clinic!

Came here for the medical certificate in order to obtain the driver license. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They have a lot of services. Location is very convenience 3 min walk from Asok BTS and MRT station. I highly recommend this place.

I recommend Dr. Ning, who is here for consultation on Saturdays. The service staff and doctors are very friendly. The doctor’s diagnosis is professional and he can communicate in Chinese. I recommend Taiwanese people to come here for medical treatment. The English is also very good and the transportation is convenient.

I came in here during a trip to get a vaccine. They gave me water when I got in, nice clinic, and I waited a few minutes before the nurse saw me. I got my vaccine, record and receipt and was in and out in under 20 minutes. Really kind staff!

Tourist from USA: I came to this clinic after I had an emergency incision and drainage minor invasive surgery at a local private hospital in BKK. Since I’m traveling solo I was unable to clean/pack and dress the open wound by myself. The first day they sent a doctor and nurse to my hotel to dress the wound and the following 3 days I went into the clinic. The staff spoke great English and the price was super low (compared to the states). They did a great job, it’s day 5 now: no infection, wound is healing and I can continue on with my vacation.

Great clinic ! At first I was hesitant to come because I thought the reviews were too good to be true. The nurses are great and very discrete with every patient. Hygiene is top tier and nurses take the time to explain how tests work and how to not mess it up. English is no worry. I would recommend coming here.

Very nice service, staff and facility. Sought treatment for “traveler’s belly” with same day appointment booked online though i probably could have simply walked in. Was finished inside 30 minutes. Physician consult and 4 prescribed medicines totaled 1575 baht, for which i will seek reimbursement from my health insurance carrier. Another patient apparently had larger issues and he was referred to a full hospital for more in-depth care, which was most confidence-inspiring. Wellmed is highly recommended.

I can’t express how relieved I feel after coming here. I got very sick in another country and came here to get looked at. The professionalism was incredible, such amazing bedside manner. We've been vaccinated here once before. This time we want to get the flu vaccine. Because the place is clean The staff and nurses give good advice, good service, and are very gentle. This time I had to come back and inject in the same place. An additional thing is to bring the whole family to get the injection. This time I was impressed and not disappointed by the gentle nurse. Vaccines are also well priced. Will come back to use the service again.

Amazing customer service from the staff. From the first query they were patient to solve all my concerns. Being new to Thailand this was very important to give me confidence and know what to expect. Communication was polite and efficient through the whole process.

Great clinic! I contacted them for a dengue fever vaccine and was able to come in the next day. The nurse who gave me the injection was so good that I didn’t even feel it. This is also the only clinic in the area that doesn’t charge any extra or hidden fees, you only pay the price of the vaccine. Thank you ladies for taking care of me!

Very responsive clinic. I hurt my toe yesterday and thought I should see the doc as the pain was on and off after applying the on the shelf cream. I pinged them after office hours but the person on the other side responded quite fast. They understand English so you so dont have to worry about language barrier.
It was the first day of Songkran but seeing the doctor was a fast wait after the registration which also took minutes.
The doctor herself speaks English well. Had just taken the meds and should be okay.

I was very sick and as a foreign tourist felt a bit unsure navigating the medical system in Bangkok. My son who was 4 years old was sick while we were on a family trip to Bangkok. We didn’t make an appointment and went there as walk-in customer on a Saturday morning. All the staff there can speak English very well and greeted us. We only waited for 10 mins before seeing the doctor. The doctor was very patient and did all the necessary examinations. After that, the doctor suggested we did a RAT test to check what kind of viruses my son got. Doctor was not very pushy on this. The staff are very attentive to my son and he received a lot of stickers from the team.
We eventually got a lot of medicine and the cost is reasonable (about USD 50). After I returned to my hometown and I was trying to file a medical insurance, we found some missing information on the receipt. I immediately emailed the team to ask for a revised copy and it was provided prompt. Thanks so much to the team.

As a young, female, solo traveller I was very worried about choosing and receiving health care in another country - however the team in this clinic were very professional and showed me exceptional kindness. Very simple walk in appointment, extensive consultation with the doctor, spoke excellent English, and all medication prescribed, explained and collected within the clinic. Less than £100 and all paperwork for insurance was provided. Also given a Whatsapp number to communicate with them if I had any further questions or concerns. I took tests at this clinic.
1. At the reception desk everything was explained in normal, understandable English. No additional services were imposed (+1)
2. Staff uses removable shoes (+1)
3. The nurse who took the blood put on new gloves in front of me (+1)
4. During the blood draw, the nurse distracted me with extraneous conversations, I did not notice how everything went. By the way, everything was quite painless and the scar went away in two days (+1)
5. After taking the tests, I was told that the result would be in 1-2 days. I received the results neither in three days, nor in a week, but within the specified period and without any additional reminders (+1)
6. The results were emailed with the doctor’s comments (+1)
It may seem that everything described above is elementary things, but experience has shown that in some other clinics they do not even comply with this
My only wish to the clinic management: please consider using shoe covers for clients, or ask them to put on replacement slippers or take off street shoes before entering the laboratory
I have got the only suggestion to the management of the clinic. Please, consider using special plastic shoe covers or your slippers for the clients of your clinic, or ask them to take off shoes when entering the lab

As a local Thai, I never thought in using the service of a clinic. Today I had the opportunity to try the Well Med Clinic in Sukhumvit 25. My first connection was a phone call to inquire the type of service provided and its appropriate cost. The information received was precise and helpful. I later found out that Kim which acted as receptionist cum operator as well as addressing any issue occurred in the clinic. It took me less than an hour to registered as a new patient, two competent nurses to clean up my wounds in professional way, and settle my bill (less than I budgeted for). Well Med Clinic will be my choice for any minor medical care for the future. Keep up the excellent services.

Today I came to check up and IV drip the doctor gave me good advice and easy to understand.I think the price is reasonable with the service. And most importantly the clinic is very clean.

Had a painful sorethroat and I tried this clinic after reading the review. I just wanted to try out.
Overall, it was a brief and nice experience.
The front desk spoke perfect English, which is good. They were courteous and professional. And told me the consultation fee would be 700-1,000B
The doctor did a quick examination and concluded that it was a viral infection and not bacterial. So, just to manage it with an organic spray, which he prescribed.
Unlike the international hospitals there were no charges for taking your temperature and pressure (approx 500B). Just the doctor fee of 700B and not upwards of 1,500B as in the international hospitals.
Highly recommended if some seasonal ailments or travel bugs are bothering you. Or as a first stop before you go the super-luxurious hospitals.

Highly recommended for tourists and foreigners. Why? The reception/front desk is possibly the most important factor for non- Thais to prevent any miscommunication. The front desk staff here are really exceptional.
- the staff speak English and are patient and experienced. Nurse is super gentle.
- the pricing was transparent. The staff provided me price quotations via text message so I knew what to expect
- caring staff. They asked me to send photos of my condition so they could prepare better for treatment. They also removed the stitches and changed the dressing so gently that I did not feel any pain.
- doctor on duty was also good: asked about my recent medical treatments and gave some recommendations
- I made appointment via LINE and didn’t have to wait long.
- price was reasonable in my opinion and as per the quotations
FYI I came here to change some dressing on a recent surgery done in another country, and also remove some stitches. Also was prescribed more Anti biotics as precaution as my wound was getting inflamed. I was worried about miscommunications or that the staff would be rough in removing the stitches, but the service exceeded my expectations.
I imagine most people would go for simpler treatments, but if they do complicated stuff well, then you are in good hands 🙂

Very timely and kind staff who speaks English. I went with my wife to get the flu vaccine. We had asked ahead of time via line chat about what brands they had available. When we arrived for our appointment, they remembered that we asked about the brands and let us choose specifically which brand vaccine we wanted to receive. Also the cost was almost half what it is at an international hospital. I will absolutely come here again.
